What is tailings dry discharge??
Tailing dry discharge is a new technology of tailing disposal, which is gradually emerging in China in recent years. It refers to that the tailing slurry output through the beneficiation process is concentrated in multiple stages and then treated by high-efficiency dehydration equipment to form slag with small water content, easy to precipitate and solidify and use the site for stacking. The slag can be transferred to a fixed place for dry stacking.
Technical characteristics of tailings dry drainage?
(1) An iron ore plant in India is an old line reconstruction project. 3000t / D iron tailings are produced 24 hours a day. The concentration of tailings is 20%. The particle size of slurry is about 70% larger than 100 mesh. More than 85% of the dry ore can be extracted after the dry discharge screen. The water content of the dry discharged tailings is less than 15%. The bottom flows through the sedimentation and can be reused. A small part of the tailings can be put into the tailings pond. It can save more than 30% of water resources, increase the storage capacity of tailings pond by more than 30%, and protect the slurry pump. The daily return water treatment capacity of tailings (including water content tailings) is 150000t / D, and the tailings and water are taken away after the dry drainage treatment. There are 10000 tons of water left. The original tailings pond can recover 50%, 80% can be recovered now, and 30% more can be recovered. The dry drainage of tailings can save water resources: 15000-5000 * (0.8-0.5) = 3000 tons / day, calculated by the water price of 0.8 yuan / ton, 3000 * 0.8 = 2400 yuan / day, 300 working days a year, 2400 * 300 = 720000 yuan, which can save 720000 yuan of water resources a year. The return of coarse sand is 3000 tons of dry discharged coarse sand per day, 10 yuan per ton of profit, 300 days of work per year, 3000 * 5 * 300 = 9000000 yuan, and 9 million yuan per year. The investment of 3000t / D iron tailings is only 800000 yuan.
(2) Case 2: a vanadium mine in Indonesia, 500t / D vanadium tailings, with concentration of 50%, particle size of about 85% larger than 100 mesh, can extract more than 95% of the dry ore with dry discharge screen, and the water content of the dry discharged tailings slag is less than 20%. The tailings after dry discharge are used for building materials, and the tailings resources are reused; the underflow can be directly reused without tailings pond. The daily return water treatment capacity of tailings (including water content tailings) is 1000t / D, and the tailings and water are taken away after dry drainage treatment. There are 300 tons of water left. According to the water price of 0.8 yuan / ton, 300 * 0.8 = 240 yuan, 300 working days a year, 240 * 300 = 72000 yuan, which can save 72000 yuan of water resources a year. The return of coarse sand is 250 tons of dry discharged coarse sand per day, 10 yuan profit per ton, 300 working days per year, 250 * 10 * 300 = 750000 yuan, and 750000 yuan return of coarse sand per year. The investment of 500 t / D vanadium tailings with dry sieve is about 300000 yuan.
