The belt thickening and dewatering integrated filter press is composed of a belt thickener and a belt filter press in series to treat sludge with a moisture content of more than 99%. Working principle of the belt thickener: the sludge and chemical flocculant are fully mixed through the mixer. After further reaction in the maturing tank provided by the thickener, they are distributed on the gravity dewatering table of the thickener, and the sludge water seeps down through the mesh belt with the help of gravity. Sludge solids are retained on the net belt and discharged separately. The belt thickener is mainly composed of a maturing tank, a gravity dewatering table, an adjustable mud rake, a mud dam, a discharge port and a drainage pipe. The sludge volume after thickening is 1 / 10-1 / 4 of the original.
In the process of sludge dewatering, there is no need to add flocculant twice for the integrated equipment. In order to improve the treatment capacity of the subsequent belt filter press, the sludge should be fully concentrated, but the solid content of the concentrated sludge should not exceed 8%, otherwise it is not easy to evenly distribute on the gravity section of the filter press. Generally, the solid content of sludge after concentration should be 3% – 6%.
The belt filter press is generally composed of four parts: gravity dehydration section, pre pressure filter area, low pressure filter area and pressure filter area. After concentration, the flocculated sludge is evenly distributed on the gravity dewatering table. With the help of gravity, the sludge water is effectively released, which makes the sludge lose its fluidity and enter the pre dewatering area. In the pre dewater area, the two mesh belts gradually close together, start to apply pressure on the sludge and slowly increase, so as to build a good sludge squeezing structure. In the low-pressure area, the mud cake is clamped in the middle net belt by a super large diameter roller and wound on the roller shaft with a large contact angle, so as to make the pressure rise gently. In the filter pressing area, a plurality of rollers are arranged in S-shape, so that the two mesh belts are continuously rolled with the mud cake in S-shape. At the discharge port, the net belt is opened, and the mud cake is discharged from the discharge port. The solid content of the mud cake is more than 20%.
The purpose of adding a thickener to the belt filter press is to extend the sludge retention time on the gravity dewatering table, so as to improve the overall hydraulic load treatment capacity of the dehydrator. The longer the dewatering table is, the longer the sludge retention time is, the more free water is filtered out, and the greater the hydraulic load treatment capacity is. In general, the effective length of the gravity dewatering table of the thickener in the integrated thickening and dewatering machine is 1-3 m, and the length of the gravity section of the filter press is 3-4 m, that is, the total length of the gravity dewatering table is 4-7 M. For example, the effective length of gravity section of the thickener is about 2.5m, and the effective length of gravity section of the filter press is 4m. The one-piece thickening and dewatering machine of national light industry can deal with the excess sludge with a moisture content of 99% – 99.7%, and the moisture content of dehydrated sludge cake is about 80%. It depends on which kind of sludge it is, and the moisture content of different sludge dewatered water is also different.
