Structure and working principle of belt sludge dehydrator

      Sludge is mixed with flocculant through static mixer and flocculated into a group, and then through gravity dehydration zone, wedge pressure dehydration zone, low pressure dehydration zone, medium pressure dehydration zone and high pressure dehydration zone, so that the water in the sludge is gradually reduced, and the later solid is discharged.

This is how the belt sludge dehydrator works. It is designed according to the dehydrating characteristics of the sludge.

Principle: The flocculated sludge enters the gravity dewatering area of the belt sludge dehydrator. Under the joint action of the distributing mechanism and the material dispersing mechanism, it moves forward with the filter belt and removes most of the free water in the sludge under the action of gravity.

When the sludge runs to the end of the gravity dewatering zone with the filter belt, it enters the wedge-shaped dewatering zone of the belt sludge dehydrator through the turning mechanism. In the wedge-shaped dewatering zone, the sludge is prepressed by the wedge pressure formed by the two filter belts to further remove most of the free water in the sludge.

By gravity dehydration and wedge pressure dewatering sludge into the low pressure area and high press dehydration, stress area is composed of low porous roller and pressure roller, belt wrapped in sludge wrapped around the pressure roller surface, because of the pressure roller diameter is from big to small, so the filter belt of sludge is from small to large pressure gradually increase, after pressing dehydration filter cake into solids fall into clay shave is out side by side.

The cleaning device is responsible for cleaning the residual residue of the filter belt to ensure the efficiency of the filter belt;

The automatic rectifying device is responsible for ensuring that the axial deviation of the filter belt is automatically corrected during operation.

The function of the water tank is to collect the filtrate produced by pressing and dehydration.

The roller system includes pressure roller, driving roller, tensioning roller, rectifying roller, unloading roller and guide roller, etc., which support the filter belt and make the filter belt repeat various functions.
