Classification of sludge drying equipment

      Sludge drying equipment is mainly divided into two categories:

1, direct heating type

The hot air is in direct contact with the sludge.

The hot air supplies the heat required for drying, and acts as a carrier to carry away the evaporated water in the sludge. In order to increase the contact area between the hot air and the sludge, a crushing and mixing device is added.

Representative models are: Rotary cylinder dryer with internal crushing device;

Boiling bed with internals.

This type of machine is characterized by: large capacity, but large energy consumption, high operating costs.

Further deodorization of exhaust gas, the load is very large.

2, indirect heating type

The heating medium is not in direct contact with the material, and the material is dried by heat conduction.

Representative models are: hollow blade blade dryer, disc dryer.

This type of model is characterized by: single processing capacity is small, but low energy consumption, the operation cost is more economical than the direct type
