Analysis of working process of vacuum filter

    Vacuum filter is a kind of filtering machine which is widely used in chemical industry, environmental protection, food and other industrial production. Vacuum filter can be divided into many kinds according to different technology and working mode, and each filter has its own unique workflow.

    External surface rotary drum vacuum filter: continuous and automatic operation, effective filtration, washing and dehydration, clean operation site, easy inspection and repair. The disadvantages are high cost, limited steam pressure of heated liquid or volatile liquid, low boiling point or volatile materials at operating temperature can not be filtered, and it is difficult to treat slurry with high solid content and great change in particle characteristics. Moreover, the moisture content of filter cake is about 30%, rarely less than 10%. It is mainly used in chemical and food industries.

    Rotary drum vacuum filter with internal filter surface: it is suitable for filtering the suspension with uneven solid particles. It does not need stirring device. It has low cost and can adapt to the change of feed concentration. If it needs to operate at high temperature, it is easy to take insulation measures. The disadvantages are that the drum surface can not be fully utilized, and the filter cake needs a certain viscosity, otherwise it is easy to fall off, resulting in the decrease of vacuum degree and the change of feed flow; it is difficult to replace the filter cloth.

    Disc vacuum filter: according to the unit filtering surface, the price is lower, the floor area is small, but the humidity of filter cake is higher than that of drum vacuum filter. Because the filter surface is vertical, the thickness of filter cake is uneven, easy to crack and not easy to wash, the thin layer filter cake is difficult to discharge, the filter cloth is worn fast and easy to be blocked. It is easy to deal with the materials with low settling speed and easy to filter, which is not suitable for non viscous materials. Its application range is the same as that of rotary drum vacuum filter.

    Rotary table vacuum filter: simple structure, good washing effect, washing liquid and filtrate are separated. For the slurry which is dehydrated quickly, the single filter has a large processing capacity, but the disadvantages are large floor area, fast wear of filter cloth and easy blockage.

     Tipping bucket vacuum filter: it can filter viscous materials with strong adaptability. It is suitable for separating the slurry with solid content more than 20%, high density, easy separation and sufficient washing of filter cake. It is commonly used in chemical industry, light industry and other industries.

     Belt type vacuum filter: divided into fixed chamber type, mobile chamber type, when the filter belt moves intermittently. The belt type vacuum filter is a horizontal filter surface, with high filtration efficiency, good washing effect, adjustable filter cake thickness, filter cloth can be washed at the same time on both sides, with flexible operation and low maintenance cost. It can be used in chemical industry, pharmaceutical industry and food industry for slurry with fast sedimentation speed When the cake needs washing, it is better.
