1.1 belt filter press belt filter press is a kind of filter press with simple structure, convenient operation and continuous feeding. It has high operation rate, low energy consumption and generally lower water content of filter cake than vacuum filter. At present, various types of belt filter press produced abroad have the same working principle and similar structure. The main difference lies in the different configuration forms of filter belt and roller, that is, the configuration mode of each working area, whether there is a high-pressure area, the structural form of high-pressure area, etc; The common point is that the filtering materials should be flocculated, and the pulp between two filter cloth should be squeezed by roller, which is continuous operation, and the pressure is usually 2 ^ – Lokg / CMZ o

In recent years, with the development of environmental protection industry, the belt filter press has gradually replaced the traditional filter press and centrifuge in the treatment of urban sewage and industrial sludge. 1.2.1 LAROX automatic filter press

LAROX automatic filter press is developed by LAROX oy, Finland. It adopts diaphragm press filtration, with high filtration rate, low moisture content of filter cake and large treatment capacity per unit area. LAROX automatic filter press is divided into LAROX pf type and LAROX CF type.

LAROX pf filter press is a vertical filter press. The filter plates are stacked horizontally, and the plates are close to each other through the pressing mechanism to form a 45 mm high filter chamber. The machine is equipped with a control panel and a high-pressure pump pressure water station. There are two programs in the control panel, one of which is the filter cake washing procedure. The whole pressure filtration process is completed in six steps.

(1) Grouting. The pulp is fed into the manifold by the feed pump and then evenly distributed to each chamber until there is enough solid.

(2) Squeeze. The high-pressure pump lifts the water to the back of the diaphragm in the filter chamber and squeezes the filter cake through the diaphragm to reduce the volume of the filter cake.

(3) Wash. When washing is needed, the washing liquid is injected along the same pipe as the pulp to wash the filter cake.

(4) The second extrusion. The filter cake after washing is dehydrated.

(5) Blow. The filter cake is dried by passing compressed air through pulp pipeline.

(6) Discharge. After blowing, close the device and put down the pressure plate, and the pressure plate is hung at an equal distance. The filter cloth with filter cake moves in a “Z” shape from one plate to another, which is equivalent to a conveyor to unload the filter cake on both sides of the filter.

LAROX pf filter press has been widely used in mineral processing plants and chemical plants in many countries. The filter cake moisture content is reduced from 18% ^} 20% to 8% “‘9 latitude.
