Applications:Widely applied to the wet pulp & residue dewatering of cassava, plant roots, etc.
The wet pulp material goes into the feeding tank，then goes to the wedge-shaped press area firstly, then goes to the low pressure area, where a “L” shaped strip press a lot of free water from the material and make the free water goes out from both sides. After low pressure dewatering, the pulp would go to the high pressure area, where the pulp is sandwiched between two belts with several sets of diminishing squeeze rollers. During this process large amount of free water can be removed by squeezing rollers, and make filter cake to be compressible. On the other hand, shearing force forms as the belts arranged on the rollers in “S” shape. This force would remove a part of the remaining free water in the filter cake. Due to the diminishing rollers, pressure on the pulp gradually increases and press a small quantity of water. Most water in the wet pulp is pressed under the force of squeezing rollers and collected by trough. In the end, the dewatered filter cake on the belts is scraped by belt scraper. Meantime, wash the belts repeatedly by high-pressure nozzles to maintain the continuous dewatering effect.
