For this reason, under the premise of meeting other design indicators, the operating speed range index of the filter belt should be appropriately expanded.
Sludge dewatering is to drain filtrate through the woven gap of the filter belt. After the sludge is dewatered by pressing, if the sludge remaining in the gap of the filter belt is not cleaned up in time, the filtrate in the next dehydration cycle cannot be discharged through the filter belt. In this way, it is bound to cause leakage from both sides of the filter belt. At this time, the processing volume dropped sharply, or even the processing volume could not be mentioned at all. Therefore, it is very important to design a high-performance flushing device.
Long-term engineering practice has proved that the flow rate of the flushing water at the nozzle outlet is maintained at about 6m/sec, the jet angle is about 85°, the width of the flushing belt formed on the filter belt is in the range of 80~90mm, and the edges of the water jets from the two nozzles are superimposed as follows: When the diameter is 15~25mm (Figure 4), the matching of indicators such as washing effect, water consumption, and pump motor power is relatively better.
The proper selection of the air permeability of the filter belt plays a vital role in the improvement of the processing capacity. Excessive air permeability can easily cause turbidity of the filtrate in the pressing section and reduce the removal rate. If the air permeability is too small, the drainage efficiency of the gravity zone is low, and the processing capacity is directly affected. When the flocculation effect drops slightly, the phenomenon of squeezing “sludge running” may occur in the pressing section.
