     The hydraulic system of diaphragm filter press is the power device for the main machine to complete the pressing and loosening. Under the control of the electrical system, a part of the work of the system is completed through the oil cylinder, oil pump and hydraulic components. The hydraulic system is manufactured precisely and has few faults. But in the daily production, we often encounter the problems of insufficient oil pressure and ineffective pressure maintaining.

     The oil pressure of diaphragm filter press is directly related to the compression degree between the filter plate and the diaphragm plate. The normal operation requires the oil pressure to reach 15 ~ 18Mpa. Insufficient oil pressure causes filtrate splashing between plates. The main causes of insufficient oil pressure are damage of relief valve, leakage of valve block and joint, wear of oil cylinder sealing ring and insufficient oil level. After finding out the cause of the fault, take corresponding measures: timely remove the relief valve for cleaning or replacement, tighten the joint or replace the sealing ring, replace the oil cylinder seal ring, when the oil level is low, add oil immediately to ensure that the oil pressure is normal, and form a working filter chamber between the filter plates.

     After the filter plate and diaphragm plate of diaphragm filter press are compressed, the hydraulic control one-way valve will lock the circuit and maintain the pressure. If the pressure is not maintained enough, liquid will be sprayed between the plates during the working process, resulting in the formation of non-uniform filter cake or filter cake. The main causes are the failure of hydraulic control check valve, oil leakage, piston seal ring damage and so on. Therefore, corresponding measures such as cleaning or replacing the hydraulic control check valve, repairing the oil circuit and replacing the sealing ring are taken according to the fault causes.
