The longer the dewatering table, the longer the residence time of sludge, the more free water filtered, the greater the hydraulic load handling capacity.

In general, the effective length of gravity dewatering table of thickener and filter press is 1 ~ 3 m, and the length of gravity section of filter press is 3 ~ 4 m, that is, the total length of gravity dewatering table is 4 ~ 7m.

For example, the effective length of gravity section of the thickener and the effective length of the filter press is about 2.5 m and 4 m respectively for Cascade sludge thickening and dewatering machine.
