Various classification methods of filter press

1. According to the source of sludge, it can be roughly divided into water supply sludge, domestic sewage sludge and industrial sewage sludge.
2. According to the process of sludge separation from water, it can be divided into sedimentation sludge (including physical sedimentation sludge, coagulation sludge, chemical sludge) and biological treatment sludge (referring to sewage produced in the secondary treatment process of sludge).

Modern sewage treatment plant sludge is mostly a mixture of sedimentation sludge and biological treatment sludge.

3. According to the classification and naming of sludge in different treatment stages, there are raw sludge, concentrated sludge, digested sludge, dehydrated sludge, dried sludge and sludge incineration ash, etc.

This method is a commonly used method for sludge classification.
